El Guante wurde mittels einer Animationstechnik
(Pixilation) erstellt, bei der der Animationsprozess des Schauspielers
Bild für Bild gefilmt wird, ähnlich der Stop Motion
Technik, wie sie für Puppen verwendet wird. Das Drehbuch
entstand aus einer Reihe improvisierter Szenen zwischen Regisseur
Juan Pablo Zaramella und dem Schauspieler Gustavo Cormillon. Die
so entstandenen Ideen bildeten die Grundlage für das Drehbuch
und später den Film.
